Save Water at Home, Starting Indoors

Free water-saving kits for Chollas Creek Watershed residents

San Diego is a semi-arid region that relies heavily on imported water. As droughts become longer and hotter due to climate change, conserving water at home helps protect our shared water supply, reduce household costs, and prepare our community for the future.

Why Plant a Free Tree?

Adding trees to your yard does so much more than just look beautiful.

📉 Lower Energy Bills: Enjoy natural shade and cooling that keeps AC costs down.

🧠 Boost Mental Health: Green spaces support your well-being while creating vital habitats for local birds and animals.

🏡 Increase Property Value: More trees mean a more beautiful, valuable, and connected community.

🛡️ Flood & Erosion Prevention: Tree roots naturally absorb rainwater, prevent erosion, and reduce local flooding.

🍃 Fresher Air & Less Noise: Trees purify the air, produce oxygen, and act as a natural sound barrier.

How It Works: 4 Easy Steps

1️⃣ Request Your Free Tree: Fill out our quick online form here, and our expert will reach out to schedule a house visit.

2️⃣ Select Your Tree: Our team will send a list of selected trees before the visit and will schedule the planting party.

3️⃣ We Do the Heavy Lifting: Our teams will dig the hole, plant the tree, spread the mulch, and water it for the first time.

4️⃣ You Help It Thrive: You commit to watering the tree weekly for the first year. We provide everything you need for easy watering, and the water cost is only about $5 per year!
