1. Our FREE Trees Program
Cool Your Home and Community
A shaded home is a cool home. In partnership with Groundwork US and Tree San Diego, we bring the trees directly to you, handle the planting, and provide all the start-up care materials.
The Benefits: Lowers summer AC bills by shading your roof and walls, purifies the air, and keeps our neighborhood cooler.
The Cost: $0! You only commit to keeping it watered (Cost is around $5 a year).
2. Clean Transportation & Electric Vehicles
Switching to an electric vehicle (EV) is easier and more affordable than you think. Through Access Clean California, we help connect income-qualified residents with personalized state rebates, affordable financing, and low-cost home charging solutions.
The Benefits: Say goodbye to expensive gas station trips, reduce greenhouse gases, and enjoy quiet, reliable transportation.
How it Works: Use our unique portal to check your eligibility for thousands of dollars in clean vehicle grants.

3. Green Appliances
Upgrade to Modern, High-Efficiency Electric Living
Ready to replace old, gas-powered appliances with clean, efficient electric models? Through San Diego Community Power’s Equitable Building Decarbonization Program, eligible residents can access incentives to modernize their homes.
What You Can Upgrade: Energy-efficient heat pump water heaters, space heaters, and induction cooktops.
The Benefits: Improved indoor air quality, safer kitchens, and highly efficient energy usage that lowers long-term utility bills.
4. Solar + Energy Storage
Pairing solar panels with energy storage (batteries) is the ultimate way to protect your home. It allows you to capture clean energy during the day, use it at night when utility rates are highest, and keep your lights running during an outage.
The Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) offered excellent rebates in the past, and it is currently paused. We encouraged you to join the waitlist!
Why Your Voice Matters: Joining the waitlist does two incredibly important things: 1) It puts you first in line to be notified the moment new funding or incentives become available, and 2) it shows community interest in bringing these rebates back.
