Chollas Creek Watershed Regional Park Master Plan

Chollas Creek Watershed Regional Park Master Plan

In 2022, the City of San Diego formally designated the Chollas Creek Watershed as a Regional Park. This urban Regional Park will be a uniquely-designed connection of parks, trails, and green spaces that will promote clean mobility, protect the Creek, and preserve native plants and wildlife.

The vision for this expansive regional park is:

Connection

Connect parks and amenities throughout the watershed with pedestrian and active transportation infrastructure.

Resilience

Strengthen physical and social infrastructure to withstand and adapt to climate change.

Ecology

Protect and enhance the ecological health of Chollas Creek through preservation, restoration and promotion of a sustainable environment.

Equity

Ensure equitable access to high-quality resources and amenities with cultural representation for all community members to enjoy.
