CLEAN CARS 4 ALL PROGRAM
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Income-eligible San Diego residents can receive up to $12,000 to trade in their old vehicle and purchase or lease an electric vehicle, or get a pre-paid card for public transit and/or an e- bike!
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
1. Must be a San Diego resident in an eligible zip
code (see below)
2. Must have a qualifying household income (300% Federal Poverty Level).
3. Your vehicle must have been operated in California for the last 2 years, model year is 2009 or older, and under 10,000 pounds.
4. You are a new applicant to a vehicle replacement grant program

4. Buy or lease a new or used qualifying electric vehicle from an authorized dealership or receive your pre-paid card for public transit and/or an e-bike.
5. Once your new vehicle (or mobility option) is in your possession, take your old vehicle to the approved dismantler to be scrapped.
*The car will be retired after you've been approved and bring home your new vehicle.
To qualify for Clean Cars 4 All, you must have an annual household income at or below 300% Federal Poverty level (FPL). The maximum income limits are shown in the table. Please count yourself, your partner, and any dependents from your tax return.
